Palungtar Solid Waste Management Project (PSWMP) is specifically aimed towards enhancing the municipal solid waste management capacity of Palungtar Municipality, which is located in the Gorkha District of Nepal. The project was started since December 1st , 2018 and will be completed within May 31st , 2020. This particular project funded by Chay Ya Austria, Karl Zund Foundation and Palungtar Municipality will help the emerging city via facilities like door to door waste collection and processing of separation of biodegradable waste from non biodegradable waste. This Project will not only keep the city clean and neat but also will help generate employment opportunities to residents of Palungtar.
