Chay Ya works to improve education services, thus providing opportunities for the poor and remote children of Himalayas. The organization fosters quality education in remote schools by building safe school building, recruiting qualified school teachers and providing school uniforms and stationary to the children.
Chay Ya began to restore and repair the school buildings damaged by the disastrous earthquake of April 2015 in Nepal. Upon completion of the project, affected students will be shifted from temporary learning centers to the permanent school buildings. The restoration of school project is underway in the Gorkha, Sindhupalchok and Rasuwa districts of Nepal.
